Sir JAMES MCNEILL POST GRADUATE RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA 

The following requirements must be satisfied by applicants in order to be eligible for the Sir James McNeill Postgraduate Research Scholarship:
  • English is a required language. 
  • IELTS: (6.5) overall (no band lower than 6.0); TOEFL: (79+); Reading: 13, Listening: 12, Speaking: 18, and Writing: 21; IELTS: (6.5) overall (no band less than 6.0). 
  • IELTS standards for arts, business, and economics are (7) overall with no band lower than 6.5 and (94+). Writing 24, Speaking 20, and Reading 19 on the TOEFL
  • All nations in the world are eligible. 
  • a pupil from another country. 
  • a resident of New Zealand. 
  • a national of Australia. 
  • living permanently in Australia. 
  • Australian national with humanitarian visa. 
  • By field of study, view the prerequisites for admission to research master's programs.
  • possess credentials that GRC deems to be similar. 
  • Scholarships are awarded in accordance with an applicant's academic standing, published work, and prior research experience. 
  • have never held a Postgraduate Research Award from Monash University or the Australian Government for more than six months.
